Autism Care Society Gandaki

Autism Care Society Gandaki ( ACSG) is a non governmental, non profit making, non political organization registered in Kaski district, Nepal (Regd. No.4122/2076) and affiliated to Social Welfare Council (Regd no.50660/2076). It is the active organization founded by a team of parents and provides various service to people with autism and their families.

To develop a society where people with autism can live independent and dignified lives with their unique talents.

Tailored therapies and support: empowering Pokhara’s autistic individuals to reach their full potential.

Autism Services Pokhara

Comprehensive support for individuals with autism and their families including parental trainings, personalized therapies, education, and vocational training to foster independence and growth.

Family Counselling

Family Counselling is provided to family members to deal with issues related to the pressures and stress of parenting a child with autism, living in a nuclear or joint family, second child issues, or any other concerns families may have. Counselling service is provided by professionals at ACSG.

Parent Child Training

A 10 weeks training to parents, specially mothers and children with autism; empowering them with knowledge and skills of autism and Sensory Integration Therapy methods to apply on their own child, helping them to be the best teacher of their own child.

Day Care Centre

A safe, stimulating space for individuals with autism to learn and grow.

Therapies

Individualized therapies for Pokhara's autism community to foster growth, communication, and independence.

Teachers Trainings

Two weeks training to teachers of public and private schools to assess and understand behavior of children with autism as well as empower them on the specialized teaching learning methods for autism.

Community Awareness

Advocacy and awareness programs on autism to all stakeholders in and around Gandaki province
